Hey there sugar! Are you looking to decorate your bedroom in the style of the lovely, bubbly and sexy bundle of joy that is Harley Quinn? She's by far my favorite of the Batman rogue's gallery, and I own tonnes of Harley themed bedroom decor. This post is for all my fellow Harley-maniacs out there looking to do the same. Let's take a look at what I've found!

The bed is the centrepiece of any bedroom, but sadly there aren't any official Harley Quinn bedding collections out there that you can just pick up and go. Boo! Have no fear though, there are alternatives. If you pick up some plain red or black sheets, you can pair them with a cute Harley Quinn print throw like the one above or this comic art style throw,

With the throw in place, you can finish off the look with some Harley Quinn decorative pillows and pillow cases. These are much more common, in both more realistic styles akin to the video games, like the one featured above, or more comic book art styles like the pillow case on the right. You can pepper the room with a few red and black checkered cushions too to add to the flavor. These match the overall color scheme and theme very well in my opinion. Mix, match and experiment and you are sure to get a great result.

Harley Quinn: Arkham Knight Decals

While Harley Quinn bedding may be sadly lacking, wall art certainly is not. There is a wide array of posters available out there featured different styles of Harley Quinn art. My personal favorite is the very enticing rolled wall cloth poster up above. It's absolutely gorgeous! You can find other amazing posters here. Also, be sure to check out the cool Harley Quinn: Arkham Knight wall decals on the right - they can be arranged however you like and are easy to apply and remove.

Black Bubble Clock

In addition, you can add some very useful pieces of wall art in Harley's signature red and black colors. I particularly like the black bubble dot wall clock on the left, for example. It's super cute!

It's not just accessories you can stylize to the theme - why not change the walls altogether with a lick of paint or wallpaper? In terms of wall color, I would advise choosing red or a gothic grey rather than black, as black can make your room look small, dark and cramped, which would ruin the overall effect and make you feel a bit depressed! If you are really in love with the idea of black black walls, check out this black and white striped wallpaper - the combination of black and white stripes is very Harley and gives the room a much lighter feel.

To finish off the room, you'll need some awesome accessories to decorate shelves and surfaces and other such like. Figurines of Harley are plentiful, you can find a whole range of them here. If you like your figurines to have a bit more utility, check out this cute Harley Quinn ornament style piggy bank. Crime's gotta pay at some point, right?

Beyond ornaments, there are plenty of other Harley Quinn decorations out there. I particularly recommend the cute Arkham Asylum stand up on the right - it's life sized! Finally, to cover every base, you can even get Harley Quinn light switch covers.

First and foremost, every themed bedroom needs a good set of matching theme bedding to act as the centerpiece of the new room. There isn't much Captain America bedding available out there, but I've found some great options for you to choose from.

First of all, up at the top of this page and on the right are some colorful official Captain America themed bedding sets out there that are just perfect for a boys room.

A cool idea for parents on a budget is to match your child's existing sheets with a Captain America themed throw blanket, such as this Civil War throw.

You can also get some colorful Captain America themed decorative pillows to decorate your bed with. Up above is a great Captain America shield symbol pillow that would look wonderful, and you can also get a toss pillow shaped like the character itself here!

The best colors to paint a Captain America themed bedroom is of course the patriotic red, white and blue! If you don't want to choose one of those colors, other colors can work well too, such as beige, grays and browns. Choose the color that works best for your decor.

As for decorating those walls once the paint is dry, there are plenty of Captain America themed wall art and decals that are an epic place to start. If your son loves the movie version of Captain America, I highly recommend the giant Captain America, First Avenger, decal of the character featured above. If he is into the comic book version (or both!), you can also get a wall decal of Captain America in the comic book art style.

There are other wall decorations which you can opt for instead of or in addition to the wall decals - check out the very artistic painting style poster of Captain America on the left for example. Its looks stunning and very colorful! If you like the retro look, you might also want to get him a Captain America vintage tin sign to hang up on his wall.

Finish off your heroic bedroom with some awesome Captain America themed bedroom accessories! My personal favorite is the Captain America shield wall light featured above (no, that's not a real crack in the wall, don't worry!). Its looks seriously cool, don't you think?

There are a number of amazing stand-up posters out there that make both great bedroom decor and wonderful photo opportunities for when his friends come over. Here's one in the movie style, and here's another in comic book art style.

Last but not least, a fun decor idea is to have lots of Captain America figurines decorating your shelves and cabinets. The cute and kitsch bobblehead ornament on the right is good choice for younger comic fans, and here's a more realistic figurine for older boys.

Whether you're a fan of the movies, the comics, or the animated series (or all three, like me!) everyone can agree that the Dark Knight is pretty awesome. Batman makes a pretty great bedroom theme too, for boys and girls, featuring deep and stark colors and lots of interesting styles and designs. That's why this post will be dedicated to looking at all the things you'll need to make the perfect Batman bedroom.

Batman Themed Bedding and Pillows

First of all you'll need an awesome batman bed. There's a number of different batman bedding sets, but the one above is probably my personal favorite. This collection comes with the comforter, a flat and fitted sheet set and one standard pillowcase. If you really want to go all out, you can even get an awesome Batman themed bed frame to put it on! I think that's pretty cool, and a great way to show that you are the ultimate Dark Knight fan.

If you already have some black or navy blue sheets, an easy way to make a Batman themed bed without buying a full bedding collection is to buy a Dark Knight decorated blanket to lay over your bed.  For example, be sure to check out this fleece blanket featuring the Batman logo and the Dark Knight himself.

Next up, no true Batman bedroom can have boring bare walls. A great way to jazz them up is with a cool Batman wall decal like the one above or this sweet set with many decals of Batman and the Joker. Decals are great as they are easy to apply and remove and don't leave any marks, since they don't use glue. There's also plenty of Dark Knight movie posters to collect if you are a fan of those, such as this iconic shot of Heath Ledger's Joker. If comic posters are your thing, check this one out.

Batman Furniture and Accessories

Batman furniture! It exists! Huzzah! If you need a place to store your things, the dresser above or this storage cube will do the trick, or alternatively this hanging organizer. Pick your favorite and go to town! Another cool idea is to have this life sized cut-out Batman watch over your room day and night.

Finally, you'll want to dress up your windows with some sweet Batman window panels to match you bedding and the rest of your Dark Knight accessories. The drapes on the right are my personal favorite. You can also pick up a Batman window valence here. If you don't want to use branded curtains, another option is to buy plain navy blue drapes and use those instead.
